CHAR SIU PORK BELLY

Serves 4

 

INGREDIENTS

500 g pork belly rashers

MARINADE

2 garlic cloves, crushed

½ cup char siu sauce

1 tablespoon chilli garlic sauce

¼ teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper

 

METHOD

Place all the marinade ingredients into a large glass or metal bowl and give it a good mix. Add the pork belly rashers and give it another mix until all the pieces are coated in the marinade.

Cover with glad wrap and allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Place the marinated pork belly into the basket of your air fryer and set the temperature to 140°C and allow it to cook for 20 minutes. Turn the pork belly over and cook for a further 20 minutes.

Remove the pork belly from the air fryer and allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes.

Slice the pork up and serve with steamed rice and greens.
