ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Emmylou Loves is an Executive Producer and TV Presenter who has grown a successful personal business via Instagram. She has a highly engaged audience and in only a short time has built a national profile. She works with some of Australia’s biggest brands, including Woolworths, DFO and Spotify. She is a much sought after content creator and will share with you how to create a personal brand and online community.

Christian Hull is a comedian with over 150K followers on Instagram. He has spent the last 5 years working as a senior social media producer for some of the biggest radio shows in Australia including the Carrie & Tommy afternoon show with the HIT Network. He has built and managed over 6 huge social profiles for SCA from the ground up and has a huge understanding of how to build an audience.

I’M A MAMA. IS THIS EVENT CHILD-FRIENDLY OR SHOULD I FIND A BABYSITTER?
Although this event will be heaps of fun, it’s not really suitable for children, so it’s best to book a babysitter and give yourself some well-deserved time off! However, mothers who are breastfeeding are more than welcome to attend with their baby.

ARE MEN WELCOME TO ATTEND?
Of course! We are all about empowering everyone in their instagram knowledge, not just women.

IS THE VENUE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. The entire venue is wheelchair accessible and has two private elevators for ease of mobility to the Waterman Centre’s level. There are also elevators throughout the Chadstone Shopping Centre, and reserved parking is available for holders of an Australian Disability Parking Permit.

I AM HARD OF HEARING. CAN I STILL ATTEND AND ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT?
You sure can! The venue is fitted with integrated hearing loops, meaning all audio is transmitted wirelessly to any compatible hearing device. I AM BLIND OR HAVE LOW VISION. CAN I STILL ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT?

CAN I FILM OR PHOTOGRAPH THE EVENT?

Sadly, no. Tickets sales on the website will close the night before the event. (If not sold out prior.)

SOMETHING BIG HAS COME UP, AND NOW I CAN’T MAKE IT SADFACE. ARE REFUNDS/TRANSFERS OF TICKETS POSSIBLE?
We’re sorry, all tickets are non-refundable; however, your ticket is transferable if you wish to sell or gift it to a friend.

DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?
Pfft, who’s got time for that? Just bring a copy of your purchase confirmation. #SaveATree

I’M COMING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN. HOW DO I GET TO THE EVENT?
Chadstone offers a FREE tourist shuttle bus departing Melbourne CBD daily (bookings essential). There is also a range of public transport options available.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?
Yes. Better yet, it’s free all-day! For the best access to the venue, we recommend parking in Carpark A.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Besides your gorgeous self? We recommend you bring a notebook and pen to scribble notes, a water bottle and/or your favourite reusable cup for refreshments (provided), and a willingness to put yourself out there. Oh, and some business cards for when you’re meeting and networking with your fellow Insta buddies!
