AFFAGATO MARTINI

Serves 1

 

INGREDIENTS

1 chilled martini glass

handful of ice

45 ml hot espresso coffee with ½ teaspoon sugar added, then cooled

45 ml BAILEYS ORIGINAL IRISH CREAM

30 ml Smirnoff vodka

1 scoop of good quality vanilla bean ice cream

GARNISH

dark chocolate shaved

chocolate coated coffee beans

 

METHOD

Place ice, espresso coffee, BAILEYS ORIGINAL IRISH CREAM and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Pop the lid on and give it a good shake for 20 seconds.

Place a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream into the chilled martini glass, and pour over the espresso martini. Garnish with shaved dark chocolate and chocolate-coated coffee beans. Serve immediately!
